10 movies to watch out this year

This is my list of top 10 most awaited movies of the year. This list is not for people looking for blockbusters or some fan book movies. It is for my top 10 picks from this year's lineup. There is no particular order for the listed movies. This list is influenced by the article on Washington Post about top 10 movies. However it does have a few differences. Enjoy and let me know which other movies you are waiting for.

Prometheus - Familiar territory for Ridley Scott after 30 odd years. The TED clip promotion is one of the intelligent promotion drives in the recent times.

Django Unchained - Tarantino, DiCaprio, Foxx, Waltz, Gordon-Levitt, Jackson, Baron Cohen and sadistic theme. Isn't it reason enough ?

The Master - Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch-Drunk-Love, There will be Blood, PAUL THOMAS ANDERSON.

Lincoln - Daniel Day Lewis directed by Steven Spielberg. This would be a dream come true for most of the movie fans.

Cosmopolis - David Crononberg's interpretation of a chaotic post-apocalyptic world is definitely something to watch out for.

The Dark Knight Rises - Alright this has blockbuster written all over it. But that is not the only reason this movie is here. This is here because of the legend. The Legend ends.

Skyfall - Sam Mendes with the new suave, grittier and darker James bond portrayed brilliantly by Daniel Craig with Javier Bardem as the new villain. I really like the way Washington Post described it. We hope that Bardem get his Cattle gun from No Country for Old Man.

Gravity - Science Fiction directed by Alfonso Cuaron. Two astronauts trying to survive in a damaged space station.

Life of Pi - Ang Lee adaption of the fantasy adventure novel of the same name by Yann Martel. It would be interesting to see how Ang Lee handles the issue of spirituality and practicality in an Indian context.

BULLY - The released unrated movie by "The Weinstien company". Shot is documentary style, it is probably one of the most important movie of the year. It follows the lives of a few student who face bullying regularly. Why does MPAA have to **** with everything ?

One more which I really wanted to include in the list is Detachment.
